数控加工技术在模具制造中应用的意义

2.1 提高模具的精度

由于在模具制造过程中，对模具的精度的控制至关重要。传统的模具制造需经过一系列的诸如铣、磨、车等加工工艺来完成，加工技术难以保证，而数控加工技术可以保证模具加工的高精度，因此，广泛应用于模具制造中，例如数控铣床、数控成型机床等，除可以满足模具加工的要求外，还可以扩大加工材料的选择范围。

此外，数控加工技术，对于形态复杂及稀有金属等不易加工的材料，可以预先设计进行高精度的加工。

2.2 提高模具生产效率

数控加工技术利用其高速切削工艺，其加工速度相较于传统加工技术可提高 10 倍左右，使得生产出的模具产品具有精度高、稳定好性好等特点。
此外，数控加工技术不仅可以对常见的模具材料进行加工，还可以加工质地较坚硬的材料。
2.3 推进模具制造业向智能化发展

随着信息技术的不断发展，已经渗透到社会生活的各个方面，模具制造业也不例外，它极大的促进了模具制造业想着智能化的方向发展。

3 、数控加工技术的应用分析

3.1 模具分类

在进行模具加工前，需要进行模具分类，并根据模具种类选择合适的数控机床。数控加工的方式多种多样，为了能取得最佳效果，我们应该合理进行分类，目前，较为常用的数控加工机床有铣加工、电火花切割、车削、磨削加工等，只有将加工所用模具进行合理分类，才能满足生产要求，降低成本。

数控加工是一个整体的流程，只有保证加工的每一道工序都能正常的情况下，才能制造出高质量的模具。
3.2 改进数控技术

随着计算机技术的不断发展，数控加工技术也将随之不断改进和发展。随着数控加工技术的不断提高，模具制造水平也随之提高，例如对于比较复杂的曲面模具，尤其是具有比较细微复杂形状的模具，能够利用数控铣加工及数控电火花加工相结合的方法，实现模具加工的顺利完成。
3.3 优化加工程序

数控编程技术是数控加工技术的重要组成部分，数控加工技术水平对数控加工技术有较大影响，加工程序越好，则加工水平越高，加工效益也就越高。
为保证加工效益，技术人员要综合考量三方面的因素，即加工质量、加工时间及加工程序的应用。因此，对于整个数控编程技术应按照指令并行执行的原则，降低非切削时间，以实现同一时间内的共同并发。

4 、数控加工技术在应用中需注意的问题

对于某些复杂模具，在制造过程中，若原材料选择不当或加工工艺参数设置不当，则有可能产生一系列的不良反应，如模具表面拉毛、铣削过程中出现粘刀现象等。
因此，需要合理进行选材及设置工艺参数。
